Top Harbor
TopHarbor.com is a large, complex social networking site for folks who are serious about having fun and making better connections with people who share their interests. Think of it as LinkedIn for the rest of your life. People can create profiles of each of their activities, listing the items they use, the clubs they belong to, services and stores they use, and the locations where they do their activities.
Using this information, TopHarbor.com builds communities based on each of these entries, so folks can see who enjoys their activities the same way they do. The site includes Q&A, reviews of items and services, geo-location based on postal code or geographical feature, photo galleries, and events.
StylePath
StylePath.com is a shopping site that learns about what you like and suggests products that match your style. Once the site knows what you like, it also highlights products that others with similar tastes have purchased or marked as a favorite item.
We were hired to add several new tools so their editors could find and highlight the best products better and faster from their extensive database (millions of products) and improve their SEO results. Along the way, we improved the performance of their product database by up to 1,000% and added powerful text searching. We also rewrote their custom blog module to add AJAX-driven comments and integrate more tightly with the rest of the site.

This site was immediately recognized as a top municipal web site by the Massachusetts Municipal Association (MMA) when it was launched and CEO Dave Hill presented "Managing Your Web Presence" at the annual MMA convention. The web site also received an eGovernment award presented at the Massachusetts State House.

Medfield Animal Shelter
The Medfield Animal Shelter asked us to redo their existing web site to provide a way for prospective adopters to fill out complicated application forms online. The site partners with PayPal for donations, Facebook for the latest news, and has a more seamless connection with the shelter's blog. The new site is also backed by a powerful content management system, allowing the shelter staff to more easily make content changes.
Mount Pleasant High School Class of 1982
This web site was requested by the class in preparation for their 25th reunion. The site collects information about what events each classmate and their family wish to attend, allows each classmate to fill out a profile along with questions about their lives since graduation. Photos from previous graduations can be posted and classmates can order T-shirts in a variety of sizes.
The site also has an administrative interface that tracks the number of people attending each event, the number and sizes of T-shirts ordered, and amount of money owed by each classmate.
